Is IPL Right for You?

IPL suits dark hair on light to medium skin. It will not work on white, grey, red or light blonde hair and is not suitable for very dark skin. Avoid tattoos, moles, dark spots, and broken or sunburnt skin, and do not use it during pregnancy or while taking light-sensitising medication. Check with your GP or pharmacist if you are unsure.

How to Use

Shave first and patch-test on the lowest setting, waiting 24 hours before a full session. Press the window flat on clean, dry skin and work in rows without overlapping flashes. Never look into the light; safety glasses are not included, so wear IPL safety glasses. Results vary, and repeat sessions plus occasional top-ups are needed.
