Jungle Culture's Natural Loofah is a dried loofah gourd, a vine fruit from the cucumber family (not a sea sponge), with a cotton cord for hanging. Its coarse, fibrous texture makes a great body scrubber in the shower or bath, and you can cut pieces off to scrub pots, pans, tiles or even root vegetables. It arrives plastic-free and is fully compostable at the end of its life.

How to Use and Care for It

  • Soak in warm water to soften, add soap and rub gently over wet skin.
  • Rinse after use and hang it up to dry fully, so it stays fresh.
  • To clean, wash it on a cold machine cycle and dry thoroughly. With good care, a loofah lasts several months.

Use gently, and not on broken, sunburnt or sensitive skin or the face.
